How to Camouflage Stretchmarks ?

September 10, 2015

Stretchmarks occur due to sudden fluctuations in body size caused by pregnancy, puberty, or other instances of rapid weight gain. Ninety percent of pregnant women will incur stretch marks around their abdomen, hips, and thighs. Unfortunately, they seem to be genetic — if your mom had stretch marks, odds are you will, too.

If you have them you have probably tried every topical cream on the market, from cocoa butter to stretch mark remover cream, only to find that they remain deeply embedded in the skin. Dominique’s NanoColor Infusion treatment can reduce the appearance of both old and new stretch marks by restoring the texture of your skin and helping you regain a smooth, even skin tone.

Dominique pioneered her stretch mark camouflage technique in France in the late 1980s, when one of her celebrity clients requested help with her stretch marks. After a careful analysis of various approaches, Dominique tested one small area. The results were so astonishing that she treated the entire upper leg. Ever since, her treatment has been in popular demand—especially when bikini season approaches!

The procedure involves skillfully infusing custom nano color into the white stretch marks so that they match and blend into the surrounding skin. The result is either the permanent reduction or complete disappearance of stretch marks, as well as a marked improvement in the treated skin’s elasticity and texture.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED BEFORE MY STRETCH MARKS ARE NO LONGER VISIBLE ?

This is usually a three-step process per area, with each session requiring one to two hours.

HOW LONG AFTER THE FIRST TREATMENT WILL I SEE RESULTS ?

Immediately after the first treatment, you will see a noticeable improvement in your skin’s texture as well as reduced contrast between the healthy skin and the stretch marks.

MY STRETCH MARKS ARE RED. CAN DOMINIQUE'S TREATMENT HELP COVER THEM?

This treatment is only effective on white stretch marks. If the stretch marks are red, brown, or purple, a laser treatment may be performed to whiten the stretch marks, thus preparing them for subsequent NanoColor Infusion Treatment.

CAN I WEAR A BATHING SUIT THE NEXT DAY AND GO TO THE POOL?

Absolutely not! For the next ten days, you will be required to protect the treated area from salt or heavily chlorinated water. Soaking in a hot bath is also not permitted for ten days following the procedure.

CAN I TAKE A SHOWER ?

Yes, of course--provided the water is not overly hot and that you don’t expose the treated area to lengthy periods under hot water or to direct, heavy water pressure.

HOW WILL I LOOK JUST AFTER THE TREATMENT ?

Following the treatment, the treated area will appear red, as if you had scratched yourself. Each day, the redness will lessen, allowing you to enjoy the visible results.
